| In order to promote green education, more than 20 teachers went to Hong Kong St. Wende Catholic Primary School to see the green campus construction on June 27. Principal Mr. Cheung Weijing clearly explained the school environmental protection facilities, such as the Energy Education Center, cold water server room, smart greenhouse, recycled paper center, campus TV station, DIY large solar system at the auditorium rooftop and breeze power generation facilities, environmental dining hall, plastic sorting and recycling, green roof garden, etc., especially the solar power and green roof is worth for us to learn. After the meeting, teachers of that School also used the recyclable materials to carry out vivid STEM hands-on teaching demonstrations. It is hoped that this activity would bring out the idea of cherishing resources, recycling of materials, and promoting the spirit of environmental protection. |
