On March 26th, geography teachers of the Chinese and English Sections undertook a geographic expedition and training in Macao, with "In Search of Lin Kai & San Kio Villages’ Origin" as the theme. We had the honour to invite Mr. Rhino Lam, a member of the Cultural Heritage Committee of the Macao SAR Government, as the mentor. Through field trips and observations of ancient maps and landscapes, participants began to show understanding of how the villages around San Kio had changed, what caused the appearance of the "river" - Lin Kai on the ancient map and how it affected the area nearby appeared. This expedition enhanced the team's understanding of the local geography.
