In order to enhance students' understanding of the financial sector, our teachers and students visited the Bank of China’s Head Office in Macau on 10th May. Accompanied by General Manager Mr. Ngan Iek Hang and President Mr. Lam Kuok Wan, Mr. Loi Chon introduced a series of topics to the students, including an overview of the financial industry in Macau, the opportunities and challenges in the banking industry development, the importance of moderate and diversified economic development and the correct concept of financial management. Finally, Mr. Ngan Iek Hang gave an encouraging speech to the students, who were fully engaged and benefited from the visit.
Afterwards, students also visited the Bank's History Gallery and Smart Counter, where they gained a deeper understanding of the history of banking in Macau and the importance of IT in the future. With sincere gratitude, we would like to thank Bank of China for their support and encouragement to our students, making the event a great success and giving our great help in their future education and career planning.      |
