This year, the feast of St John Bosco was held on February 18. It was presided over by our school supervisor, Fr Yip Tai Ho, and our principal, Fr Chow Pak Fai. In his sermon, Fr Yip introduced St John Bosco's educational philosophy to our students. He mentioned that Fr John Bosco often visited young people in prison. He thought about how to prevent young people from committing crimes. He also wanted to understand the reasons why young people committed crimes. He found that when young people encountered problems, they were afraid and not supported. They felt hopeless, intimidated, helpless and sad. This was the reason for young people to commit crimes. In order to prevent them from committing crimes, Fr John Bosco hopes to bring faith, truth and hope to young people. He encouraged his students to rely on faith and hope to get out of the difficulties. After the ceremony, all our students enjoyed the drama prepared by our Form 6 students and the theme of the ceremony was "Finding Hope in Difficulties".
