On May 24, our school celebrated the feast of Mary Help of Christians, patron of the Salesian family. The ceremony was officiated by the our supervisor, Fr Yip Tai Ho, and our principal, Fr Chow Pak Fai and Fr Jacob Yu Fu Keung. Fr Yu talked about the relationship between the Virgin Mary and war in his sermon sharing at Mass. Wars arise when the heart begins to turn away from God, thinking that it has the power to control everything. Our Lady taught us to be humble, to know our own limitations, and to seek and know the infinite God.
After the ceremony, our students also enjoyed the drama "Make Me a Tool for Your Peace" prepared by our SM2 students. It is vivid and in line with the school educational goals. The drama performance ended with warm applause.   |
