In order to let students learn about the occupational and professional licenses and certificates that can be obtained in Macao, and to promote their active participation in related examinations, the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ) invited the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) to organise seminars on Vocational and Professional Licenses for colleges in Macau. Our Commerce Panel organised a session on 14th October 2022 for students from F6D, SM3C and SM3D.
The presenter from CPTTM introduced various public examinations for licenses and certificates in areas such as business, information technology and language that local students can obtain in the future. Commercial licenses include accounting knowledge and accountant qualification examinations such as LCCI, ACCA, and CPA Australia. Information technology licenses include Microsoft Office Specialist, Adobe Certified Associate, National Computer Software Examination, etc. In addition to the need in career planning, some exams are also admission requirements for universities, such as TOEFL, GRE and Japanese language proficiency tests. Through this seminar, students have a better idea about the licenses and certificates that they need in their future career and education plans. |
