Our Principal, Fr Chow Pak Fai explained the theme of this year's Salesian Mission Day: "Proclaim Jesus Christ Today" during Mass. Fr Chow mentioned that we should make good use of social media today to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, and not just fall into the temptation to make a good impression, more attractive and be praised.
Fr Chow reminded parents that now is the time to deepen our relationship with God, to listen to God's voice and to listen to young people. He invites parents to be the most active followers and supporters, to be close to young people, to share with them how to make good use of the digital world, to educate them by good examples and to bring them closer to Jesus Christ. After the holy chant, Fr Chow led them to recite the 2023 Salesian Missionary Day prayer; may our little contribution can achieve great evangelization work! After the Parents' Sunday Mass, we invited the instructors from Mutai to share with parents, teachers and students how to safely use essential oils for physical and mental health, introduced what essential oils could be antibacterial and antiviral, stimulated the immune system to enhance resistance and relieve cold symptoms, etc. Parents learned about the different functions of essential oils and how to use them through the explanations of the instructors. They prepared alcohol sprays with their favorite flavors. It was a rewarding experience! |
