Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023, marks the beginning of Lent. This ceremony was presided over by our Principal, Fr Chow Pak Fai. Many Catholic teachers and students participated in receiving the Holy Ash, preparing to welcome and spend a fulfilling Lent.
Our virtue need not be that many people are watching us all the time, but that God sees us even when we are alone. Jesus said: "Your Father who sees in secret will reward you." This means that God is always in the light, He sees it all the time. Let us try to practice charity this Lent. "That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:4)   |
