On 4th April 2023, our school successfully completed the Yuet Wah College School Outing, which lasted one day. The aim of the event was to improve interaction and communication between teachers and students, expand students' horizons, and provide a livelier and more enriching learning experience. Over 1,300 teachers and students participated in this school-wide event, which took place at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom.
At 8:30 in the morning, over a thousand teachers and students departed from the school and arrived at the Ocean Kingdom Park at 10:00 am via the Hengqin Port located in Hengqin City, Guangdong Province. The park offered a range of activities, including marine exhibitions, dynamic amusement facilities, and animal performances, providing a rich and diverse experience for all participants. Teachers and students were able to observe rare marine life and learn about marine conservation, thus developing a greater awareness of the importance of environmental and ecological protection.
This practical activity not only enhanced the cohesion and team awareness of the students, but also provided them with a personal perspective of the ever-changing development of the Greater Bay Area. During the visit, they learned about ecological diversity and animal science knowledge, which played a positive role in promoting science. The teachers and students expressed that they had a great time and that the trip was well worth it.
