The final award ceremony of the "I, the Constitution and the Basic Law" Speech Competition, held in commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the promulgation of the Basic Law of the Macao SAR, was jointly organised by the Macao Basic Law Promotion Association, Legal Affairs Bureau, Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, and Education and Youth Affairs Bureau. The event was a success, as young participants expressed the significant meaning and understanding of the Constitution and Basic Law to themselves, their families, schools, and society through their speeches. They also used their public speaking skills to encourage more young people to understand the Constitution and Basic Law correctly.
The contestants demonstrated their skills and creativity on the final day, highlighting the close relationship between the Constitution, Basic Law, and daily life, and showcasing their thorough understanding of the Constitution and Basic Law. The audience was moved by the personal stories of the contestants, making the event a truly engaging experience. Our school's Wong Weng Hong from SM2D, Bao Kin Lam from F4A, Chan Yik Hei from F3B, Cheang Chi Hou from JM2C, and Chow Man Hin from F2C performed well in the competition and received the group participation award. |
