On 13th May, the Macao Library and Information Management Association hosted the "12th General Knowledge Quiz Contest for Library Volunteers and Work-Student Students in Macao" at the Wu Yee Sun Library of the University of Macau. The contest was co-organized by the University of Macau Library and covered a wide range of topics, including the history of libraries in Macao, service items, library classification operations, procurement operations, case analysis, book knowledge, reading theory, library functions and so on.
Our school's participating team, "Knowledge is always there," competed fiercely and won the Merit Award after several rounds of competition. The award presentation ceremony took place on 27th May in the audio-visual room on the second floor of the I Chon Center in Macau. The team members who represented our school and won the award were F6C Lau Chi Chong, F4A Pao Kin Lam, and JM3B Tai Chi Sam. They were recognized for their outstanding performance and received certificates and bonuses for their achievements. We hope that this achievement will inspire more students to join the team of librarians in the future and contribute to their personal growth and development. |
