The fourth "Cantonese Culture" learning experience class, which is sponsored by Jinan University and the Centre for Chinese History and Culture of the University of Macau, and co-organised by the Hung Sin Nui Art Center, is specifically designed for middle school students from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. The event was held at Jinan University from the 6th to the 8th of July.
The primary objective of this seminar is to foster a deep appreciation for the country, Macao, and the school, while also preserving Lingnan culture. To achieve this goal, the seminar includes lectures, field trips, and experiential activities, such as visits to the Chen’s Ancestral Hall, Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Art Museum, Hung Sin Nui Art Center, Guangzhou Embroidery Building, and other sites of cultural significance. Through this immersive training and study, students will be able to experience the richness of Lingnan culture and gain a more comprehensive understanding of university life.  |
