The “2023 World Robot Olympiad Tournament (Macau)” was held on June 25th, organised by the Macau Science and Technology Innovation Education Association. The WRO competition consists of four main categories, with Regular Category being a competitive event where students must design, assemble, and program their own robots to complete challenging tasks on the field. On the day of the competition, teams were required to bring the necessary equipment and components for assembling their robots and complete the assembly, programming, and debugging within a limited time.
Under the guidance of Mr. Tam Man Tou, our school's robotics class students claimed multiple awards in the WRO Regular Category, including second and third place in the Senior High School Group, as well as first place and second place in the Junior High School Group. The students' dedication and efforts were recognized. The Champion in the Junior High School Group will represent Macau in the coming World’s Finals in November in Panama. Congratulations once again to all the award-winning students.
