The results of the SDGs eTournament (Greater China Region 2023) organized by the Hong Kong Baptist University were recently announced. The purpose of this competition is to enhance students' understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), strengthen their ability to collaborate online with peers to complete assigned tasks, and achieve the goals of deepening SDG-related quality education (Goal 4) and fostering partnerships for goal achievement (Goal 17). It has also cultivated students' awareness of global development issues.
We are delighted to announce that four students from our school's SM1, namely Wong Hoi Tung, Lam Man Ho, Jim Zak Seng, and Tong Iok Wang, stood out and received the Outstanding Group Award in the competition. This achievement not only demonstrates their excellent knowledge and skills in SDGs but also highlights their outstanding performance in teamwork and task completion.
The success of this competition not only affirms the participating students but also encourages more students to care about and engage in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We look forward to more opportunities in the future to participate in similar activities and continue promoting the achievement of sustainable development goals in our community, country, and even globally.
