The 2023 WRO Denmark International Competition took place in Denmark from September 21st to 24th. WRO (World Robot Olympiad) is an international robotics competition organized by the International Olympiad in Robotics Committee. It currently has 90 member countries and is known for its academic focus. In this international competition, students are required to build robots within a limited time frame and perform on-site programming to complete various missions, testing their skills in assembly, programming, and problem-solving.
Our school's students, Sou Ieng Kit and Sou Ieng Cheong of SM2B, earned a spot in the earlier Macau regional selection competition and represented Macau in the international competition. After three days of intense competition, they achieved the 12th place in the RoboMission-Senior category, marking the best performance by Macau in that category throughout the years. The hard work and efforts of the students and their teacher, Mr. Tam Man Tou, have been recognized and appreciated. Congratulations once again to the award-winning students!
