In October of this year, our school celebrated English Month. The English Department organized a series of extracurricular activities and workshops for students to provide them with opportunities to practice their oral skills outside the classroom. The aim was to encourage students to learn English beyond the confines of the classroom. The English teachers conducted a series of workshops tailored to different grade levels.
Through these workshops, teachers created opportunities for students to engage in English conversations, expand their vocabulary, and improve their English speaking skills. The students actively participated and showed great enthusiasm in these workshops.

On 20th October, we also organised a "Factile Quiz Competition" for JM3, SM1 (Chinese Section), F3 and F4 (English Section) students. During the event, we first played a video of an entry by our English Department students who participated in the 4th The 4th Macao Vocational English Contest and won the gold award and creativity award. We then played a video of our JM3 student, Kuok Kai Nam, who participated in the English Recitation Competition organised by the Hong Kong Multiple Intelligences Education Association and won the championship. After the videos, we immediately proceeded with an exciting quiz competition using the interactive learning website "Factile." The competition included all classes mentioned previously. The atmosphere was intense and exciting, with most students fully engaged and eagerly cheering on their fellow participants. The winning classes are SM1A, SM1B, F4C and F3D.
