Our school held a memorial mass in our school chapel for Fr. Francisco Lau by our principal, Fr Chow Pak Fai on January 5. All our SM2 students, students of Catholicism Class, Doctrine Class and Catechumen Class, past pupils and parishioners attended the mass and prayed for Fr. Lau’s soul, rest in peace.
During the mass, Fr Chow shared the advice and encouragement that Fr Lau gave him on the road to divine vocation. Fr Lau served as our pastor at Yuet Wah for ten years and was loved and respected by our teachers and students. Fr Chow reminds us to learn from him, trust in God and being enthusiastic devotion to Our Lady Mary Help of Christians. We should also thank God for giving us Fr Lau and feel comforted that Fr Lau has achieved the purpose of life and obtained the joy of eternal life.   |
