To deepen students' understanding of Chinese history and culture and to cultivate an active learning atmosphere, the 3th ‘Star of History Quiz Competition’ was held in March 2024 by the History Department of the Yuet Wah College, with great support and sponsorship from Fundação Macau and Conselho da Cultura e História. After fierce competition, the Final round was held on 18 March in the Ranaldi Hall to compete for the junior secondary school section championship. Winners of the three categories were as follow:
JM1 and F1 level: Champion: LAM HOU CHENG, 1st Runner-Up: LEONG MAN POK ADRIAN, 2nd Runner-Up: LEI CHEUK HIM JM2 and F2 level: Champion: KWOK CHON SAM, 1st Runner-Up: HO KIN WA, 2nd Runner-Up: LAM KIN LONG JM3 and F3 level: Champion: SIO KENG NIM, 1st Runner-Up: YU HO YIN, 2nd Runner-Up: IP CHON HOU Through the quiz competition, senior students were inspired to learn and understand Chinese history and culture with fun, as well as to reflect and reward the active participation of school, teachers and students in promoting Chinese history and culture.   |
