In order to provide students with a deeper understanding of the industrial sector and better prepare them for future career planning, our school arranged for students from JM3, SM1, F3, and F4 to participate in the " Meeting Industry at School " event, organised by the Macau Chamber of Commerce and co-organised by the Education and Youth Development Bureau. The event began with the entrance of Fr. Chow Pak Fai, the principal, and Vice Principal Kong Kong Hang, accompanied by various distinguished guests. The attending guests included Mr. Choi Io Lam, President of the Macau Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Fong Son Kin, Chairman, Mr. Ho Ting Yat, Vice Chairman, Mr. Ian Soi Kuen, Vice Chairman, Mr. Lei Ioi Hang, Vice Chairman, Ms. Lao Fong Ling, Vice Chairman, Mr. Ho Hon Fai, Vice Chairman, Mr. Fong Man Tou, Vice Chairman, Ms. Kwok Cheong Sou San, Vice Chairman, Mr. Tang Wai Keong, Director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau, Mr. Leong I On, Chief of the Education and Youth Development Bureau, as well as several executive directors and youth committee members of the Chamber of Commerce.
During his speech, President Choi Io Lam expressed that it is beneficial for students to have a better understanding of the development of the local industrial sector as it will enable them to serve Macau better in the future. Principal Fr. Chow Pak Fai, in his address, hoped that students would take this opportunity to gain more knowledge about the industry, support it, and actively participate in it. Following the speeches, Mr. Ieong Seak Meng, Mr. Lao Tai Hang, and Mr. Chan Ka Yip delivered thematic lectures on the current status, future prospects, and importance of Macau's manufacturing industry, the development of the health industry, and the significance and future prospects of high-tech. These lectures provided students with a deeper understanding of the moderate diversification of Macau's 1+4 economy and the development of the Greater Bay Area. Throughout the event, students actively participated, asked insightful questions, and engaged in discussions with the speakers and guests. The students benefited greatly from the event, which concluded successfully.      |
