To allow students to closely feel the pulse of the nation's scientific development and gain a deeper understanding of the struggles of Chinese scientists, our school organised a visit to the Patriotism and Youth Development Centre on 20th June. Students participated in the "Understanding the Spirit of Chinese Scientists" short lecture co-organised by the Education and Youth Development Bureau and the Macao Science Centre.
On the day, experts at the Centre vividly described the fruitful achievements in China's scientific field, and shared the indomitable and pioneering spirit demonstrated by Chinese scientists in their research journey. The students gained immense benefits from the experience. The rapid development of Chinese technology and the outstanding accomplishments of scientists filled them with a deep sense of pride, and further ignited their interest in scientific exploration. The students expressed that they will take scientists as their role models, learning their fearless and diligent spirit. They will continue to advance on their learning path, with the aim of serving the motherland and contributing to society in the future.  |
