September marks our school’s Visual Arts Month, during which the Visual Arts Department organised a series of activities themed "Aesthetics and Mathematics." This attracted many students to actively participate, resulting in fruitful outcomes.
The mandala painting and printing workshop allowed students to create colourful mandalas using geometric shapes, showcasing the wonderful combination of mathematics and art, and printing their designs on T-shirts on the spot.
The string art creation enabled students to produce unique artworks using string, exploring symmetry and proportion in mathematics, which sparked limitless creative potential. During the event, students' works were displayed in the school hall, attracting numerous teachers, students, and visitors, who praised the creativity of the students.
The series of activities during Visual Arts Month not only showcased students’ artistic talents but also provided them with a platform to express their creativity and individuality. Together, they created a vibrant and creative artistic atmosphere, allowing every participating student to gain unforgettable experiences and memories.
