The 4th CAFEA Youth Smart City Forum was held from July 19 to 20 at Cyberport in Hong Kong, with over 200 participating primary and secondary school students from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macau. From more than 350 student projects across the three regions, 45 projects were selected. This allowed youth from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area to learn about innovation and technology together, as well as to explore and exchange ideas on smart city concepts. The students showcased their limitless creativity and present various innovative solutions ranging from smart campuses to smart cities.
Our school SM1 students, Kuok Pak Him and Chan Hin Wong, under the guidance of teacher Cheang Kai Leong, received the IEEE Award and the Outstanding Project Certificate from the forum, and their work was included in the forum's proceedings.
