The WRO Open Championship Italy 2024 was held from September 24 to 28 in Brescia, Italy. The WRO (World Robot Olympiad) is an international robotics competition organized by the International Olympiad Robotics Committee, with over 95 member countries, and it is known for its high academic standards.
Students from our school's robotics team, under the guidance of Mr Tam Man Tou, secured a spot in the earlier Macao selection competition and represented Macao at the Open Championship in Italy. After several days of competition, they achieved a Silver Award (8th place) in the high school category of the Robomission. This is the best result that Macau has ever achieved in this category, recognising the effort of both teachers and studentst. Congratulations once again to the award-winning students!
