To enhance the comprehensive abilities of Macao students and cultivate positive thinking, writing, and public speaking skills, the First Inter-School Speech Competition was organised by the Macao Debate Professionals Association and funded by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau. The preliminary round, themed “Continuation of the Times”, took place on November 3rd at the Zheng Guanying Public School. Our students, including Pao Kin Lam from Year 6, Lam Wai Neng and Ho Son Lok from Year 3, and Ho Hoi Fong from Year 4, participated and won the Gold Award for the Team Cup, successfully advancing to the finals.
The finals will consist of two sections - the impromptu speaking competition and the prepared speech competition, with themes including “The Next Ten Years in My Eyes,” “Daring to Chase Dreams,” “Resilience in Adversity,” “Moral Standards,” and “Love for My Country and Macao.” In this event, Lam Wai Neng from F3 won the First Prize in the inter-school impromptu speaking competition, while Ho Son Lok, also from F3, secured the First Prize and the Best Content Award in the inter-school prepared speech competition. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the award-winning students and express our gratitude to their guiding teachers for their dedicated support.    |
