In response to World Reading Day on 23rd April, the Public Library of the Cultural Affairs Bureau is promoting a reading culture to the public. This year, it continues to hold the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao ‘World Reading Day Creative Competition,’ themed ‘Reading – My Travel Companion,’ encouraging children and adolescents to broaden their reading horizons, deepen their comprehension, and integrate book knowledge with life experiences.
In this competition, our JM2B student, Lio Chi Hou, won the runner-up position in the junior secondary category with his work titled ‘Finding the Convenience Store, Meeting the Kapok.’ We are filled with joy and extend our warmest congratulations! At the same time, we hope to encourage students to read more, cultivate their interest in reading, broaden their literary horizons, and enrich their knowledge.
