The Chinese Youth Advancement Association will organize the third ‘Cross-Strait, Hong Kong, and Macao Youth Writing Competition’. This academic year’s theme revolves around ‘Ink Rhythms Connecting the Strait, Literary Melodies Composing Splendid Chapters’. The competition aims to further strengthen national and ethnic identity among youth across the Strait, Hong Kong, and Macao, enhance their writing skills, and broaden their horizons. It encourages young participants to write from perspectives such as exchanges among the four regions, national confidence, cultural inheritance, and personal experiences, thereby highlighting the practical significance of ‘One Country, Two Systems’, the concept of the ‘Four Regions across the Strait’, and the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative. Through diverse viewpoints, the competition seeks to present the similarities and differences in the lifestyles and systems of compatriots across the four regions, showcasing their collective spirit in striving for a happy life.
Our students Wong Seng Hou from Class F6D and Chan Kai Nam from SM2D delivered outstanding performances in this competition and received the Merit Award in the Senior Secondary Division.
