Jointly organized by the Education and Youth Development Bureau and the University of Macau, and hosted by the Association of Promotion of Science and Technology Practice in Macau, with prize sponsorship from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Macau) Limited, the “2025–2026 Academic Year Inter-School Chemistry Competition” was successfully held on September 20, 2025.
The competition aims to promote the development of chemistry education in Macau and to select outstanding local students to represent the region in national chemistry contests. This year, 140 students from 30 secondary schools participated in the event, making for a highly competitive and engaging contest. After intense competition, five schools were awarded the “Outstanding Teacher Award,” and 25 students received individual honors. Our school achieved excellent results: Mr. Chan Wing Keung and Mr. Hoi Ka Hou were both recognized with the “Outstanding Teacher Award.” Student Wong Man Cheng from class F6A earned a Second Prize, while students Liu Kuan I and Ng Hio Chit from Senior Class 3B each received a Third Prize. Congratulations to all the award-winning teachers and students for their remarkable achievements!   |
