| In order to let students know how to efficiently spend their spare time and respond to challenges with a positive attitude, so as to get a balance between academic work and interest development, three lectures on sports, music, and arts by alumni were arranged for our students. The first lecture was held on May 14. Mr. João Augusto da Rosa shared his 30 years of working for the police and coaching our YW football team. He vividly described how to cherish time in school and how to continuously increase self-improvement. Our students were encouraged to be the one who could protect their families, shoulder their responsibilities and cherish every moment. The second lecture on "Music" was held on May 26. The guest speaker, Mr. Che Fok Sang, described the difficulties of his entrepreneurial period, but he still insisted on his dreams. He founded the "Chess Entertainment" with only 7 employees and would like to give up initially, but he insisted on it for twenty years till today and now it has become famous in the industry. Our students were encouraged to make good use of study time, seize every opportunity and accumulate experience, this would be a great help in the future. Another example was the popular sports shoe store owner, telling that making money is not the most important purpose. The way to success is persistence! The third lecture was held on June 4, our alumni, Kenny Lee was invited to share his professional arts creation career and his own experience for the arts group students and teachers. Students rarely had the chance to meet a professional artist with face-to-face dialogue and sharing. It was also the time to integrate beauty into life. "Why can the compass draw a circle? Because the two feet are moving, the centre does not change. Why can some people not realize their dreams? Because the heart is uncertain, the feet do not move! Finally, I wish all the students can set sail towards success!     |
