| A series of activities have been organized in the Geography Month in this scholastic year. One of these activities, Turkish Mosaic Lamp Craft Workshop, was successfully held on 1st December, 2021. Students were able to comprehend the knowledge of Turkish geographical features, the causes of the popularity of Mosaic lamps in Turkey, the relationships between Mosaic lamps and Turkish natural landscape, the development of the crafts of making Mosaic lamps and so forth. In this workshop, each participant was equipped with one set of materials for making a Mosaic lamp. The students were fully engaged in creating their own Mosaic lamps. In addition, students’ creativity could be cultivated through the process of designing Mosaic patterns in this craft workshop. |
