Activities held a few days ago to preserve the Chinese heritage have come to a successful end, but our passion towards the Chinese culture continues. This year, teachers from the Chinese section organized a number of activities for our students. Being a calligrapher and painter, Ms. Chau Hon Va taught students calligraphy skills and wrote traditional couplets together to welcome the year of Tiger. Tea master, Ms. Wong Wai Ian, explained the history of tea, which had deepen students’ understanding of tea culture and tastes of different tea. Instructed by Ms. Fan Kwai Ieng, through the knot handcraft workshop, students learned the skills of knotting and were able to tie unique knots by themselves. Chinese culture is indeed extensive and profound. Through a number of activities, students were allowed to experience more Chinese culture and be passionate about it. We look forward to activities to come next year!
