The 8th Golden Lotus Movie Review Writing Competition aims to promote the cooperation and exchanges between Macao and mainland China’s film industry, which stimulates the development of cultural and creative industries. The organiser has moreover taken the opportunity to enlighten Macao students about the Chinese film culture by arousing their interests in appreciating excellent films. Through promotion of the inheritance of Chinese culture, students may further strengthen their sense of national identity and thereby cultivate patriotism and patriotism amongst themselves. The results of the competition have been announced a few days ago. Congratulations to Fong Iao Lam of F4B from our school on winning the third prize in the Junior High School Group.
