The Guangxi-Macao Student Sketching Exchange Program is an art education project jointly organized by the Guangxi Arts Institute and the Guangxi Women's Federation of Macao. Its aim is to promote cultural exchange and artistic innovation between middle school students from the two regions.
Our school had the honour to participate in this event and had three days of artistic learning and exchange in Guangxi. The students visited the art institutes, art museums, and Longjing Village to experience the historical culture and artistic style of Guangxi. They also had in-depth discussions and exchanges with students and teachers from Guangxi Normal University. The students also participated in a sketching competition with the theme of "Longjing Village", showcasing their creativity and talent. In the competition, Lau Iat Hei, a student from SM2D, won the Outstanding Award in the high school group, bringing honour to our school. This event not only enriched the students' artistic knowledge and skills but also enhanced the friendship and cooperation between the two regions. |
