The 2023 Catholic School Teacher Development Day was held on 8th September at the Sports Hall of the Macau Polytechnic University. 80 students from our school's Salesian Youth Association participated in the prayer ceremony of the Catholic School Teacher Development Day. With the theme song "Salt and Light," they prayed to our Heavenly Father on behalf of over 3,000 Catholic school educators present. They thanked God for granting courage and strength to the educators, enabling them to be the salt of the earth and the light that illuminates every young person.
Teachers from different schools may wonder, "How did they manage to be so focused, devout, coordinated, and precise in their movements? Did the students put in a lot of effort? Despite the rain, how did so many students manage to attend?" How did they achieve this? Our answer is, "Because we are from Yuet Wah College and because we are members of the Salesian Youth Association!" |
