In order to enhance our students' civic awareness and enthusiasm for social affairs, Yuet Wah College organized a visit to the Legislative Council of Macau on January 6. This activity was organized by the Monitors’ Association, with a total of 20 teachers and students participated.
During the open day , through the explanation of the guide, the captains of Yuet Wah College had a better understanding of the operation and functions of the Macao Legislative Council. They visited the conference hall and offices of the Legislative Council, met and interacted with members of the Legislative Council and other staffs. This event provided a valuable opportunity for students to understand the operation of Macao's political institutions.
This experience allowed our captains to understand the role of Parliament in society and stimulated their interest in social and public affairs. At the same time, our captains have the opportunity to communicate closely with parliamentarians, which expanded students' horizons and strengthened their communication skills.
