The 5th Macao Secondary Students History Knowledge Contest, co-hosted by Macao Foundation, Historical and Cultural Affairs Committee of Macao Foundation, Macao Association of Historical Education and Macao Broadcasting and Television Company Limited, took place at the Affiliated School of the University of Macao on 26th May, 2024. The competition, which attracted 145 teams from 33 schools in Macao to participate, covers a range of historical and cultural topics, including Chinese history and culture, Macao's history, and world history knowledge. Participants are tested on their historical knowledge and abilities in these fields of study.
After several rounds of intense competition, Sio Keng Nim, Cheang Kit Hong, Lam Hou and Cheong Su U from JM3A took the championship of the junior section. Pan Sai Tou from F3B, Kwok Chon Sam, Liu Louis from F2D and Ho Chon Lam from F2A were also recognized for reaching the semi-finals of the competition for Junior section. Our higher form students, including Zhang Wai Hei, Chao Tin Long, Wong Kin Long and Kong Wai Chon were recognised for reaching the semi-finals of the competition for Senior section. In addition, Si Tou Yat Long from F3D, Iao, Pak Hei from S.M.1D and Lei Hong Meng from F5C were commended for his outstanding performance in preliminary round.   |
