To provide students with more opportunities to engage with high-tech industries and understand cutting-edge technologies, our teachers and students visited the Venetian Macao Convention and Exhibition Centre on 25th May to attend the "Technology Innovation Seminar" co-organised by the Labour Affairs Bureau, the Education and Youth Development Bureau, and Huawei Services (Hong Kong) Limited Macau Branch.
The seminar was themed "AI Empowering All Industries, Making Intelligence Ubiquitous". The guest speaker was Mr. Li Guang, the Solutions Sales Expert for Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific Region, who delivered a comprehensive presentation tracing the development history and trends of artificial intelligence, from traditional machine learning to deep learning, and the rapidly emerging large data models, deepening the teachers' and students' understanding of artificial intelligence. After the seminar, the teachers and students proceeded to visit the exhibition area of the 4th Beyond International Technology and Innovation Expo. The display content was highly enlightening and appealing, allowing the teachers and students to personally experience the application outcomes of cutting-edge technologies, from which they gained substantial benefits.    |
