To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, our school held a "Dual Celebration" extracurricular activity showcase - a musical performance at the Jubilee Hall on 17th May.
Nearly 140 student performers came together to present a rich and spectacular show. The senior choir and orchestra jointly performed music pieces filled with patriotic sentiments, their stirring melodies inspiring passionate emotions in every member of the audience. In addition to the choral and orchestral performances, solo and ensemble performances on percussion instruments, saxophones, and guitars also added infinite brilliance to the event, creating a captivating musical canvas.
The event not only featured musical performances but also magic and street dance performances. The students' brilliant performances reached a climax, eliciting enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience, fully demonstrating their recognition of the students' talents and efforts.
Each student performed wholeheartedly, showcasing their youthful charm on stage. Through this event, the students not only displayed their vibrant energy, but also expressed their deep love and best wishes for the motherland through music and dance. This "Dual Celebration" extracurricular activity showcase undoubtedly added a touch of brilliance to the celebrations of these two important anniversaries.
