On 18th May 2024, our school's flag raising team participated in the " Flag Raising and Military Camp Experience Activity’ organised by the Education and Youth Development Bureau to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, and the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao school flag raising teams.
As the stirring national anthem played, three flags rose majestically in the morning light, fluttering in the breeze. The teachers and students present sang the national anthem with enthusiasm, expressing their love and respect for the motherland. During the event, the teachers and students reverently appreciated the impressive performances and drill demonstrations by the PLA garrison in Macao, learning a great deal from the experience. Afterwards, the flag teams from various schools demonstrated their drill routines while holding their school flags, with solemnity and gravity. This activity not only showcased the unity and spirit of Macao's school flag raising teams, but also profoundly manifested the teachers' and students' patriotism towards the motherland, Macao, and their school. They recognised the responsibilities and mission they shoulder, and were inspired with the belief to strive for the prosperity and strength of the motherland.  |
