In order to improve our students' proficiency in Mandarin and to experience the profound essence of national culture, a group of 32 members from Yuet Wah College embarked on a five-day, four-night study programme from 7th to 11th July 2024. Within the campus of Beijing Language and Culture University, they engaged in in-depth discussions with university scholars and took leisurely walks around the solemn Tiananmen Square, the historically rich Nanluoguxiang, the treasure trove of knowledge at the China Science and Technology Museum, the sacred Temple of Heaven, and the bustling Wangfujing. This allowed students to deeply appreciate the country's history, culture, and technological development while enhancing their language learning experience.
