Photography is not just about capturing images; it is a profound expression of inner feelings, perspectives, and worldviews. We are proud to announce that Chong Man Him, a student from F4C in our English Section, has excelled in the “Light and Shadow in Urban Architecture” Photography Competition organised by the Centre for Architecture and Urban Planning. He earned the Runner-Up title in the student category, bringing honour to our school.
This competition focused on the theme of Macau's architecture, inviting participants to explore the unique charm of urban buildings and the cultural stories behind them through their lenses. Zhuang Wenqian's award-winning work showcased exquisite use of light and shadow, along with a unique compositional perspective, vividly presenting the depth and futuristic essence of Macau's urban architecture. His piece is more than just a photograph; it embodies a beautiful hope for future urban development and deep contemplation.
In his work, sunlight filters through architectural gaps, casting beams of hope and dreams, prompting viewers to pause and reflect on the vitality and inclusiveness of Macau.
This achievement not only highlights the individual success of the student but also reflects our school's commitment to fostering diverse development among students. This honour will inspire more students to pursue their interests and dreams, shining in various fields.
Congratulations once again to Chong Man Him for his remarkable accomplishment, and a heartfelt thanks to his guiding teachers for their dedicated support. We look forward to seeing more students excel in different artistic domains in the future!
