In November, our school held the “Science Month Green Low-Carbon Science Popularisation Competition,” which attracted numerous student participants. The purpose of this competition was to deepen students' understanding of the environmental hazards posed by plastic waste, the classification and recycling of plastic products, and to encourage them to tackle plastic waste through a social practice challenge.
Students were tasked with recycling plastic waste as materials to create practical tools that reflect a greener lifestyle. Using their creativity and scientific knowledge, students proposed various solutions to the plastic waste problem, demonstrating a profound understanding of environmental protection and sustainable development.
Additionally, the outstanding projects from this internal competition represented our school in the Macau regional selection of the "Green, Low-Carbon National Youth Public Welfare Science Competition," organised by the Macau Science Centre and the China Green Building and Energy Saving (Macau) Association. Our school's excellent projects stood out and won awards. Congratulations to all the award-winning students!
