The Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 Macau Award Ceremony was successfully held on December 2 at the Macau Science Center Conference Hall. The event attracted around 200 participants, including representatives from the government and various institutions, professionals from the technology industry, and teachers and students from 20 local schools. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as talent cultivation and enhancing the competitiveness of local tech talent, while also recognising the winning teams of this year's competition.
This year's Huawei ICT Competition was co-hosted by Huawei Macau, the Macau Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology, and the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, with the support of five local universities and 15 secondary schools. The ICT Competition has been held in Macau for four consecutive years and has seen enthusiastic participation, attracting nearly 800 students. A total of 25 teams advanced to the finals to compete for awards. In the secondary school category, 15 schools participated, with 36 students receiving TOP 3 awards. Under the guidance of Mr Tam Man Tou, Ms Chan I Wan, and Mr Cheang Kai Leong, our students achieved notable results in the Cloud and Network tracks, winning 2 second prizes, 1 third prize, and 5 merit awards.
