Our students, Lei Sio Pui of F6C, and Ng Hio Chit and Ung Chi Long of SM2B, represented Macau in the "GT College - International Science Project Competition," co-organised by the Gifted Education Council and GT College (Ellen Yeung). The final, alongside the STEM Forum and Prize-giving Ceremony, took place on November 16.
The competition attracted 38 teams from eight countries and regions, including participants from Hong Kong, mainland China, the United States, Thailand, and Malaysia. It was divided into three categories: "Biological Sciences and Chemistry," "Physics and Engineering," and "Computer Science." Students presented their research findings and engaged in discussions with professors from Hong Kong. This experience significantly enhanced their interest and passion for science and technology, motivating them to approach global issues from scientific and innovative perspectives. They gained valuable insights and received the following awards:
