On March 9, our school’s wind band participated in the "2025 Campus Music Extravaganza," organised by the Education and Youth Development Bureau and co-organised by the Macao Wind Band Association, held at the Science Centre. That day, the wind band captivated the audience with four splendid pieces: "Transforming into Wind," "Viva La Vida," "My Neighbor Totoro Suite," and "Persian Overture," delivering a moving musical performance.
This performance was the result of months of hard work from the wind band members. Day after day, they focused on rehearsals, continually striving to improve their skills. On stage, every note was infused with their sweat and effort, and each harmonious resonance during the performance reflected their love for music, leaving a deep impression on the audience. When the "My Neighbor Totoro Suite" began, its warm melodies transported the audience back to childhood memories, while the majestic power of the "Persian Overture" elevated the atmosphere to a climax. After each piece, thunderous applause erupted, acknowledging the performers and praising their perseverance. This event not only provided a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their musical talents but also allowed them to deeply experience the power and significance of teamwork. Every rehearsal’s struggles and every drop of sweat transformed into heartfelt melodies on stage. They moved the audience with their music and grew significantly through this experience, enhancing both their performance skills and self-confidence.    |
