Among the various career planning activities at our school, one of the most popular events is the sharing session on the journey from secondary school to the workplace. On January 24, we were honoured to invite alumni Lei Lok Cheng and Ngok Cheong Kio, both graduated in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, to return to campus and share their experiences.
During the session, they discussed how they selected their subjects in secondary school, set goals, and prepared appropriately. They also shared anecdotes from their time at Tsinghua University, highlighting their learning experiences and how they continued to pursue education and research after graduation, all while planning their future careers.
The interaction between younger and older students was enthusiastic, providing deeper insights into further education and career development in mainland China. It is hoped that the younger students will take these alumni as role models, effectively planning for their futures and steadily working towards their goals.
