To facilitate our students’ career planning and promote collaboration with the police school, our Monitors’ Association specially organized a visit of 18 teachers and students to the Macao Judicial Police Training School on March 17. During this activity, teachers and students gained in-depth knowledge about fingerprint forensics and simulated crime scene investigations, allowing students to closely observe and understand the training procedures and operational work of judicial police officers.
Guided by the criminal investigators, our students were particularly interested in experiencing the simulated crime scene investigation. Through this interactive learning session, students understood the operation and importance of the criminal investigation legal system. Finally, criminal investigators also introduced simulated crime scenes and related investigation training, including professional work such as evidence collection, evidence collection and crime scene preservation.
The activity provided our students with a unique educational opportunity, enhanced their understanding of judicial police operations while stimulating their interest in law enforcement and legal affairs. This visit and study will have a positive impact on inspiring students' future career planning and academic specialization choices.
