Pope Francis was called to the Lord on April 21, 2025, at 7:35 a.m. in Rome, Italy. The Macau Diocese held a Solemn Memorial Mass at the Cathedral on April 29 (Tuesday) at 7:00 p.m., with public mourning from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. the same day.
Our school conducted a life education session this morning, reflecting on "Pope Francis’ ten Messages to the Youth". This was followed by a memorial activity: Catholic teachers and students attended a Requiem Mass, while non-Catholic students held prayer sessions in their classrooms. This event finished at 10:45 a.m., with around 110 Catholic teachers and students visiting the Cathedral at 11:00 a.m. Fourteen teachers and students also attended the evening Memorial Mass at 7:00 a.m.    |
