To enhance Macao secondary students' understanding of international science competitions, the Macao Science and Artificial Intelligence Education Association organized the Canadian Chemistry Contest this April, with approximately 80 students participating.
The competition covered multiple chemistry domains, including safety issues, organic chemistry, acid-base reactions, structure and properties, electrochemistry, solutions and stoichiometry, gas laws, thermochemistry, kinetics and equilibrium. The exam was conducted offline in a written format. Our students demonstrated outstanding performance in the contest, earning recognition based on the scoring standards set by the host country: Silver Award: Pun, Wai Meng (F5C), Wan, Chi Fong (F5B) Bronze Award: Wong, Ka In (F5C) Regional Excellence Award: Wong, Man Cheng (F5A), Pang, Chong Hang (F5C), Ao Ieong, Iat Hei (F5A) Congratulations to all award-winning students!
