The 2425 Business Month took place in May this year, featuring a variety of activities designed to deepen students’ understanding of business and economics while expanding their knowledge beyond the classroom. This year’s events included field visits, workshops, and interactive booth games.
Our first activity was a visit to the 13th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE), where students experienced firsthand the latest trends in the travel and exhibition industry. Additionally, we toured the headquarters of Tai Fung Bank and Banco Comercial de Macau (BCM) to learn about daily operations and recent developments in the financial industry, as well as the connection between banking operations and national and Macao economic policies.
Alongside these visits, a business etiquette workshop was held to teach students essential workplace skills, enhancing their professionalism. Furthermore, a Kahoot quiz game themed around the ‘Macao Exhibition Industry’ provided all students with an opportunity to learn relevant knowledge in a fun and relaxed environment.
We sincerely thank all the teachers, students, and collaborating organisations for their support, which contributed to the successful conclusion of this year’s Commerce Month activities. We look forward to providing more practical learning opportunities in the future to further ignite students’ interest in the field of business.
