The ‘Social Security in My Heart’ essay competition, organised by the Macau SAR government and the Liaison Office, has successfully concluded. The competition aimed to explore the theme of ‘Social Security in My Heart,’ with the hope that the contemporary Chinese youth are a generation that walks alongside the new era and moves forward together. Young people are vital in safeguarding national security. They should understand and reflect on the close relationship between national security, national rejuvenation, and personal growth and success. Additionally, as Chinese citizens and Macau residents, they must recognise their responsibilities towards the nation and Macau, continuously learning, embracing, implementing, and adhering to the overall national security concept.
